What parents really ask us.

We answer the way we would talk to friends or family.

What does this really cost us by the end of the month?
Single session 59,99 €. Our hour packages (one-off, no subscription) bring it down to roughly 50 to 54 €/h: 5-hour pack 269,99 €, 10-hour pack 499,99 €. More hours are only charged once the pack is used up. You decide then whether to continue.
Do we get a proper invoice?
Yes, automatically by email after every session. § 19 UStG (small-business exemption): no VAT charged. Company name, service period, all required fields. Fully usable for BAföG proof, employer reimbursement, or your tax return.
Is the session recorded?
Default: no recording. If a recording would help (for example to rewatch), we ask explicitly each time, from all participants. For minors we additionally ask a parent for consent.
May we sit in on the first session?
Absolutely. During the free first chat you can sit in quietly. That gives you a feel for how we work. For later sessions we recommend your child works alone. Otherwise the tutor talks to you instead of to your child.
What if my child does not engage?
You see what was booked (one email per session). You do not see what was discussed in detail. That is a 1:1 relationship between tutor and your child, which we respect. If you feel it is not a good fit, tell us. We will arrange a switch or end the engagement fairly.
How legitimate is all of this?
A fair question. That is why: first chat is free, every booking is individual, no subscriptions, no fine print. You can stop after one hour if it does not fit. The legal entity is Study Core UG (haftungsbeschränkt), registered in Germany with a full imprint. All required disclosures live in our imprint.
Who are the tutors?
Industry professionals with at least 3 (typically 5+) years of professional experience. Active senior devs, not bootcamp graduates. Each one was interviewed personally and passed a teaching trial. Full profiles (with surnames and LinkedIn) appear in your protected account after sign-up. Publicly we only list first names, for privacy.
PRIVACY · CONCRETE

What data we keep, and what we do not.

What we need

  • Name and email: so we can confirm sessions and send invoices.
  • Booking and session data: when, with whom, which subject. 6-year retention period (tax).
  • Billing address: only for paid sessions. For BAföG or employer reimbursement: their address.
  • Login cookie: so your child does not log in again for every session.

What we do not collect

  • No Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no Hotjar. No trackers.
  • No re-marketing based on children's data. Ads only for non-minors, opt-in.
  • No sharing with third parties beyond the legally required ones (Stripe for payment, tax advisor).
  • No recording of sessions by default, only with explicit consent.

Your right to deletion applies at any time. Send an informal email to privacy@study-it.education . We delete within 14 days (apart from legally required retention, such as invoices). Full details in our privacy policy .
